Meet Miss Belle and Bo, Captain Dan's fearless cats, who out of boredom and adventurous spirit courageously stowaway on his great big jet. Find out how they sneak aboard the plane and into the cabin to encounter funny adventures throughout the flight. In the end, they are seated up-front near Captain Dan who denotes them "First-Class Cats", and together, they begin to travel the world.
Our hope was to promote travel, culture, history and geography to children of many ages, all told through the eyes of two beloved cats, Miss Belle and Bo. Let's face it.. we ALL love to travel, right? The idea of them in a first-class seat is not around luxury but rather the proximity to Captain Dan. With the cats seated near the cockpit, he is able to monitor them throughout the flight. Meanwhile, these two furry passengers, manage to escape and explore the great big airplane. Find out what and WHO they discover onboard and how they end up charming everyone on the plane!
In our second book, First-Class Cats in the French Parade, Miss Belle and Bo travel to beautiful Paris, France. They befriend a grumpy French poodle named Luc Leon; never suspecting they would all work together to do a good deed. The group enjoys all the beauty of Paris with their owner Captain Dan and his friend Claude while they stroll the city's riverbanks.
In recognition of their life-saving good deed, the cats and Luc Leon are awarded distinguished medals from President Pierre Éclair and the celebration is as big as the Eiffel Tower itself! Grab your passport, buckle your seatbelt... and join the fun!
...Bonjour! (which means Good day!)
SNEAK PEEK! ... Stay tuned because we are super excited to announce 2 more stories on their way! The cats and Captain Dan travel to London and Rome where they continue to do honorable deeds for others and make new friends all while learning important life lessons!
Showcasing pet adoption, this book introduces readers to the beautiful city of London, England, its history and culture. The cats, along with Captain Dan discover a new friend who was trapped for years in the dark tower and help him find his way home. This story is dedicated to a very special, sandy-haired boy and his family who appeared when they were most-needed and loved unconditionally.
There's no one who loves Gelato more than Gino the cat. With gelato dripping from his whiskers, he fearlessly leads the cats around Rome and teaches them the essence of reading. This story highlights the importance of tutors and the impact that private learning makes on so many people. This is dedicated to my mother, Sandie Harrington who as an award-winning/state recognized teacher, continues to change the lives of so many students. She tutors children in her sunny Florida library and is so loved by all.
